Meet Kyle - He is as close to perfect as they come. He could run for U.S. president today with all of his accomplishments - Valedictorian of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, Eagle Scout, Star Track Player, All State Musicians Band. He comes from an incredible family who has supported him every step of the way. He is, by far, the kindest and most well-mannered young man that I have ever met. He will be attending the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado where he will follow the legacy of both of his grandfathers. Kyle's 18th birthday is on this year's Memorial Day. Coincidence?

Happy Birthday and Good luck at the Air Force Academy!

50 YEARS TOGETHER {The M. Family} | MCWalker Photography Blog

HAPPY 50TH ANNIVERSARY!

It's not often that you meet a family like this. And it all started with two young lovebirds fifty years ago.

Congrats on your fifty years together! May you have many more years of love and happiness.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATE *** MCWalker Photography Blog

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KATE!

For the last...8 years or 96 months or 417.419656 weeks or 2921.937592 days or 70126.50216 hours or 4207590.128 minutes or 252455408 seconds, my daughter has blessed my life. And I look forward to a lifetime of many more sweet smiles and big hugs.

I love you, baby girl.

When my friend told me it was over five years since their last family photo and then asked me to take the photos I was as close to a heart attack as when my son swallowed a dime. Not only do I fear family photos in general, but this particular family had SIX children! Seriously...this is an incredible family and incredibly well behaved. Being involved in the school and church has definitely had an impact on their children's lives.

Hope you like your Mother's Day gift, my friend.

*****    HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LIAM   *****

Dear Liam,

When the midwife told me I was having a boy, I cried. I cried because I had to return all the pink clothes I bought! Months later at the baby shower, a friend told me - you'll love having a boy. boys love their moms. And that was the best thing anyone had ever told me...because it was true!

I'm not going to go on and on about what a wonderful, sweet, smart and cute boy you are. Nor am I going to go on and on about how you are the best son, brother and grandson. I just want to say thank you for being all those things.

Thank God for you.

Love, Mom.

Stefy V. | Sugar Land Photographer | MCWalker Photography Blog

Meet Stefy - I first met Stefy years ago at my son's school. She comes from an amazing family and is quite the angel herself.  At fourteen, she's really turned into a beautiful young lady. She wants to be a model. She's definitely on the right track! Good luck, Stefy.

MY MOTHER | HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

My mother...She is 66 years old. She has been married for 45 years. She has five children and eight grandchildren. She loves to shop. She loves to dance. She loves to cook almost as much as she loves to eat. She is a lover of anything Filipino. She loves to wear red lipstick. She is my mother, Rose.

Many years ago, my mother was diagnosed with multiple myeloma -a cancer of the plasma cells in the bone marrow. When the cancer progressed my parents came back to the states after years of retirement in the Philippines for cancer treatment. For two years she suffered through multiple rounds of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. During her last visit to the Philippines, she lost both her legs from the complications of the chemotherapy. She remains in the PI because she is unable to make the trip back to the states.

To celebrate Mother's Day, I'm bustin' out the red lipstick!
